During the visit, the Catholicos was guest of honour at a luncheon given by the Lebanese Ambassador, which was attended by the Secretary-General.
During his call on Secretary-General U Thant, the Catholicos presented the Secretary-General with the high honour of the Cilician Cross. At right is Archbishop Hrant Khatchadourian, Prelate of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America, North American Diocese of the Cilician See.
