Headline New York City Schoolchildren Contribute to UN Disarmament Exhibit 
Caption Description From more than 100 paintings, drawings, and collages done by New York City schoolchildren in the Fall of 1983, showing what they love about life, 28 have been incorporated into the “living” segment of a major exhibit at United Nations Headquarters, entitled, Disarmament, Now! Investment in Living, Now! They were the work of 131 children working alone, in groups or as a class. Hundreds of city schoolchildren ranging in age from 5-14 years participated in the project which was organized by the United Nations Department of Public Information, which produced the Exhibit, with the cooperation of New York City Board of Education, Gifted and Talented Unit.
